The Sudden Angles Non-Profit Organization (SANO) was founded on the idea that through grief, we can create something amazing. SANO strives to provide support for families through a variety of resources. Through shared experience we hope to open the door to a brighter and more accessible future to families in need. We hope to ensure a community of like-minded people, who know that they do not have to face the challenge of unexpected loss alone.
Who.
For the mothers, fathers, sons, daughters and anyone who has lost a loved one without warning. SANO is here for you if you have experienced the tragic and sudden loss of a family member.
What.
A nonprofit dedicated to helping you transition through the grieving process by providing informational and educational resources so you can focus on what’s most important. Grieving is hard enough on its own, let us help you figure out the next steps to take.
Why.
Because we all need a little help sometimes and no one should have to go through this alone. We know how it feels to lose a loved one unexpectedly, let us help point you in the right direction.
2021 Fundraising Goals:
Provide mini-grants that will be applied toward counseling sessions for spouses/partners who have experienced a recent and unexpected loss and need financial help for getting these services.
Provide information and local resources for grieving family members.
Provide a scholarship for a Kent State University student who has recently experienced the unexpected loss of a family member.
Provide Cups of Comfort to families who have experienced a sudden and unexpected loss.
